Since 1947, McClancy has maintained itself as a family-owned company dedicated to serving as a strategic partner for our clients. As a broad product category supplier, our goal is to use our capabilities to grow your business in both profit and offerings.
In 1947, George McClancy founded McClancy Seasonings in Charlotte, North Carolina making spices for sausage makers in small towns across the Carolinas. By 1968, Forrest Wilkerson purchased the company and in 1983, he moved the operations and facilities to Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Reid Wilkerson became President of McClancy in 1986, where he led the company into the future of food production. Today, the company is not only known for its seasonings and spices – though it is still a core competency – as a full-service food production company offering ready-to-prepare food products and convenience items, including sauces, gravies and much more.
